UGANDA CHARITY WEEK & FESTIVAL

The Fundraising event (Uganda Charity Week & festival) will bring together all private sector stakeholders in Uganda ecosystem with the aim of positioning Philcom as a preferred destination program in promoting Philanthropy in Uganda through our Donation Platform. For all these years Uganda has had no support systems for the civic society and this has led to application for grants and donations from international communities, these donations come with demands and also there has been a delay in processing of such Donations and grants which in return slows down the NGO & Charity activities in the country. Therefore, with Uganda charity week & festival there is a chance that a new system that will support our NGOs and charities is put in place to monitor and process donations, there is also room for all private sector stakeholders to engage in the civic society support program and community donations through our designed event.

The event, organised by Philcom under the theme “Everybody is a Philanthropist” will take place on 23rd June to 29^st June 2025 at a venue that will be communicated, and is expected to attract over 2000 Philanthropists from the community and corporate companies including 100 exhibitors, 50 NGOs & Charity organisations.
